This visa may be granted to a foreigner who classifies as having been granted asylum or as a refugee by the Ministry of Foreign Relations, in accordance with the treaties or conventions in force and ratified  by the Colombian Government.

Requirements

√    Valid travel document, in good condition and with a minimum of two blank pages.
√    Two (2) recent 3x3 photographs, facing the camera, in color and against a white background.
√    Photocopy of the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Relations’ resolution recognizing the person’s status as a refugee or having been granted asylum.
√    “Commitment to report to the Administrative Security Department, DAS”.
√    In the case of practicing a regulated profession, the foreigner who is a refugee or has been granted asylum must present the documents permitting him/her to practice a regulated profession, such as a certification of equivalence or validation of the professional qualification, the provisional permit or license to practice, or the registration or professional card.
