PUBLIC DEEDS PROTOCOLIZATION

The individual residing abroad wishing to record a procedure relative to real estate, purchase and sale, barter or donation, must submit the following documents before a Colombian Consulate:


Requirements:

 

  • Legible draft of the new deed previously prepared by the interested party.
  • Previous deed of the property
  • Colombian I. D. Card
  • Tax payment return of the previous year
  • Land and historical ownership certification issued no more than three (3) months prior.


Note: Property which may be subject to mortgages, taxes or limitation to property shall be identified by their relevant Land Survey number, if it exists; by its nomenclature, by its site or by its location.


Cost: USD$380
