Introduction and Services

This specialized public information center attached to the Diplomatic Academy, is in charge of selection, acquisition, processing and systematization of the bibliography published in books, journals, theses, CDs, DVDs on topics related to International Relations, Public International Law, Political Science, International Economics, Geography, History and others.

Services

Reference and Guidance: Customized attention and guidance to clarify doubts and provide assistance in searching bibliographic material of the collection and databases.

In-library loans for consultation: Review of the bibliographic material within the Library facilities, upon presentation of an institutional card or other current identity document.

External borrowing: Employees, Diplomatic Academy students and Contractors are permitted to take bibliographic material outside of the facilities, provided they do so in person. External users are authorized by means of the Interlibrary Loan system.

Specialized Bibliography: Guidance and consultation of specialized bibliography by e-mail or phone. Likewise, users wanting to receive bibliographic information regarding new acquisitions and recent publications must submit their request to the institutional e-mail address.

Internet: Service for queries on specialized, research and academic topics, search of bibliographic databases and document repositories.

Interlibrary Loans: This service enables the user to request and take out bibliographic material through previously established inter-institutional agreements. Agreements have been established with the following institutions:
