The individual abroad requiring formalization of a procedure relating to properties, purchase and sale contracts, barter or donation, shall present the following documents at a Colombian Consulate:

Requirements:

• Legible draft of the new deed, previously prepared by the interested party.
• Previous deed of the property.
• I.D. Card.
• Free and Clear Tax Certificate from last year.
• Ownership history and no-lien Certificate issued at least three (3) months previously.

Note: Real estate objet of transfer, mortgage or limitation to property shall be identified by its property number or land registry, if it exists; by its nomenclature, place, or localization.
