The National Commission for Cooperation with UNESCO is an entity that aims at joining governmental and non-governmental institutions of the Member State with the activities of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. It was officially established in 1947 and re-organized in 1985 and in 2004, when the headquarters of the Commission moved from the Ministry of Education to the Ministry of Foreign Relations (acting as its President).
