On the occasion of the Colombian Independence Day, which is celebrated on 20 July of every year, on behalf of the President of the Republic, the Director of Protocol shall invite the chiefs of mission and their respective spouses to attend a solemn "Te Deum" at the Primate Cathedral of Colombia.

The Diplomatic Note shall indicate the time of the ceremonial and include recommendations regarding vehicle entry and parking.

At the Primate Cathedral, the representatives of foreign governments and international agencies shall be seated in order of precedence.

At the conclusion of the ceremonial at the Primate Cathedral, the Ministry of Defense shall organize the military parade, if applicable, reserving a special platform for the Honorable Diplomatic Corps.

Upon conclusion of this act, the chiefs of mission and their spouses will be escorted by officers of Protocol to the parking places of their diplomatic vehicles.
