OBJECTIVES

• To create initiatives, projects and strategies to make contacts and promote collaboration in activities among Colombians both in this country and elsewhere and to facilitate a positive contribution by migration to Colombia’s real problems and needs.
   
• To implement institutional initiatives for Colombians abroad and their families at home in the areas of social security, house purchasing, opening savings accounts in Colombian banks from abroad, ensuring good use of remittances and facilities for the accreditation and validation of qualifications.
   
• Actions to promote orderly and regulated migration.
   
• To encourage Colombians abroad to return to Colombia in favorable conditions.
   
• To create social processes online to increase the social capital of Colombian communities abroad.
