Bogotá, July 31, 2010 (OP). Colombia has never considered attacking the neighboring Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, as has been stated by the Venezuelan President in a clear attempt to politically deceive his own country. Colombia has recurred to instances of public international law and shall continue to insist on these mechanisms in order to adopt an instrument that will compel the Government of Venezuela to comply with its obligation not to harbor Colombian terrorists.
