Specific Requirements
- True copy of the Colombian Marriage Certificate, or of the Public Deed, Judicial Provision or Conciliation Act.
- Visa application letter signed by the Colombian spouse or permanent companion with a photocopy of the citizenship card and special power granted by him/her to the foreigner for application of said visa.
Note: When the application for a visa as a permanent partner of a Colombian national is submitted to a Consular Office, the valid document that proves the de facto marriage will be accepted, in accordance with the laws of the place of application.
The M type visa will be valid for 3 years.
