Issues on the bilateral agenda

  • Free Trade Agreement Commission. The objective is to strengthen, expand and diversify trade relations, following the terms of the WTO, with full execution of the FTA.
  • Co-operation Commission. Designed to strengthen co-operation in a range of areas considered to be priorities, as a contribution to the development of human capacity and in institution building in areas of common interest, broadening and deepening the scope of the Basic Agreement on Technical and Scientific Co-operation of 1991.
  • Political and Social Commission. Established to deepen and broaden the political and social dialogue on bilateral and international matters of mutual interest.

Colombia and Chile are committed to strengthening regional mechanisms of concertation and integration, which provide the benefits for development in the region. One of them is the Pacific Alliance, a mechanism for deep integration with other regions in the world.
